Altit is an ancient village with great
historical, cultural and architectural significance and immense beauty.
It locates at the heart of Hunza valley at more than 2200 m. Altit is
the birth place and first capital of Hunza kingdom. The majestic Altit
Fort is located at the highest point in the old settlement area. and its
renovation work is in progress.
